Essaouira-Mogador has reached a historic milestone in 2024, surpassing one million tourists, announced Mr. Redwane Khanne, President of the Essaouira Provincial Tourism Council (CPT).
The city also saw over 3 million overnight stays in 2024.
These figures only account for classified establishments, with the CPT noting that the substantial flow from informal accommodations and home rentals (such as Airbnb) should also be considered, as they have traditionally represented a significant share of the local tourism market
